Customers Fault Description : Remote control only working to turn fire up and down when very close (0-4") to receiver unit

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have a very weak signal on both channels.
This was due to a faulty transducer, a replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
