The CD player does not respond to the remote control unit but can be operated manually

This Myryad CD player controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was confirmed missing.

On testing the control would send but only very intermittently.  This was found to be due to poor solder joints on the IR led, the led was replaced which restored full functionality.

A replacement battery cover was supplied.
