My tv won’t turn on and there isn’t a button on the tv either. I guess is the censor is broken

This Baird tv remote arrived safley and on inspection the IR cover was missing as well as the battery cover (these cannot be replaced as parts are not available, these are cosmetic parts and dont effect functionality).  There were also maks around the outside of the control which are most likely from attempted opening attempt.

On testing the item was found not to be transmitting on any button.  This was due to the IR led being missing, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
