Customer's Fault Description
The IR of the remote is working as I have tested in a camera and can see the white light. It was working with the radio but stopped and works very intermittently. I'm not sure if it's the remote or the radio.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Pure controller arrived safely and on testing many buttons were non responsive.
On opening this was found to be due to a mass of battery acid contamination near the main IC (see image), this had eaten through some of the tracks around the IC, the solder was reworked which restored full functionality.
The second controller (the amazon firestick remote) was found to be dead and sadly this item is beyond repair, replacements can be purchased for around £13 from ebay - Click here for details
