Customer's Fault Description
No illumination or power with new batteries. Seems old batteries leaked onto circuit board.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Yamaha amplifier control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening there was 2 main issues, the first was that there was a battery leak which had eaten through parts of the print and the other issue was that there was a very large amount of liquid contamination over the entire button array.
The print was reworked and the PCB / button array cleared of all contaminants which restored full functionality.
This item was disposed of due to non payment as per our terms and conditions - 5th Sept 2020
