Customers Fault Description : have replaced batteries however transmitter signal light intermittent, as opposed to unbroken red.It seems like contact on battery housing loose/broken? as discussed with Martin Smith over the telephone.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This garage door controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery housing had come away from the PCB. This meant that there was an undervoltage to the board causing the LED to flash.
The Housing was soldered firmly back into please which restored full functionality.
