Customer's Fault Description
The volume buttons are difficult to get the receiver to pick up the command. You normally have to try different angles to get the signal through. More recently the 'volume up' button has completely stopped working.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This AV receiver controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish buttons.

On opening the issue was found to be due to a mass of liquid contamination over the button array.

The buttons and PCB was cleaned of all contamination which restored full functionality to all buttons.
