Customers Fault Description : The remote does not connect with the receiver. The red led light comes on but there is no ticking like it should do. The remote should activate a ticking noise then the fire ignites. There is no movement or sound when I press the remote to start the fire
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This remote and receiver arrived safely on inspection the battery block in the receiver had signs of a battery leakage.
On testing, the remote was transmitting but the receiver was not responding.
This was due to a faulty oscillator, a replacement was fitted in the receiver as well as the battery block which restored full functionality.
