Replaced several years ago but was always sluggish in operation. Now doesn't work at all unless held very close to the receiver.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fire control and receiver arrived safely and on testing it was found that the remote was not transmitting a signal.

This was remedied by replacing the US transducer in the handset.

No issue was found with the receiver.
