Customer's Fault Description
The buttons stopped working and any button would activate channels. On
Only turned off by the plug socket
Then stuck on channel 30 only.
And on by any button is once in a blue moon now.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This bathroom TV control arrived safely and on inspection the item rattled when shook.
On opening the rattle was found to be due to a broken oscillator that had broken away from the PCB.
A replacement oscillator was fitted and then it was found that some buttons would not work. This was due to corrosion spots in the print from water contamination. The print was reworked which restored functionality to all buttons.
Please note that this item is not waterproof and therefore great care must be taken to prevent future issues.
