Triton Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Triton
Customers Fault Description : Various issues: Button labels coming off buttons (power up button is completely off, has been protected by a plastic cover), Battery cover lost, and one of the 3 battery connectors has come off.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Triton remote arrived safely (it arrived in a thin brown paper envelope that was partially open but luckily the remote was still present) and on inspection the battery cover was missing - this is not replaceable as spares are not available meaning the customer will need to secure the battery in using card / tape.
On the facia many of the button caps were missing. The facia was peeled back and cleaned up and replacement conductive caps fitted under the original facia, this restored full functionality.
Important - this item is not waterproof and great care must be taken to prevent future damage.
