Someone tried to fix this for my late father a while ago. All I know is it worked now and then. Sometimes the light would not come on when pressed, and in the end, would not work at all.<br /> Sorry, I don't know what was done to it before, but thought it was worth seeing if it could be fixed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This motor move controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have erratic response from its power button "Double" press.

On opening a couple of issues were found, the first was that the battery cable was intermittently connecting.  Also the aerial was connected at both ends creating a loop and soldered incorrectly effectively weakening the signal being emitted.

The battery cable was replaced and the aerial correctly fitted.

Now the control turns on at each Double press of the power button and the RF signal is present.

A replacement screw was also supplied for the battery cover as the original was missing.
