Power button fails to function Sometimes sleep but will have the effect of turning on the power, not consistent. Battery changed to no effect
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a non functioning power button.  On opening this was found to be due to a decomposing button contact leaving contamination over the button array (see image).

The PCB was cleaned up and replacement button caps glued into place.  This restored full functionality.
