Velux 3LR A01 WW Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : The remote control won't turn on. We have tried several sets of batteries and tried the reset switch but unfortunately that did not help. I tried pressing all the buttons in the order it would be to open the window to test if it was just the screen but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This velux control arrived safely from Ireland and on testing was confirmed dead.

On opening the usual problem was found to be the issue whereby components just fall off the PCB (see images)

These components were replaced which restored full functionality.  Please note that as this item was reset by the customer it will need pairing with its receiver again on return.
