The handset Type: RCSO1J does not work
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This electric fire control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead. A component test was carried out and it was concluded that the issue is with the IC that sadly is encapsulated in black resin (see image) which makes a repair impossible.
We do have clones available that will function with this fireplace, these are priced at the same cost of whata repair would be (£20 plus £6 postage), if you wish to order this clone please contact us on 0151 430 8033 or 07817039435. See below for an image of the clone next to the original.
