Customer's Fault Description
The receiver suddenly stopped working (gas valve does not open remotely, the heater works fine whilst operating it manually. No light on the receiver, but a red light is showing on the remote. New batteries have been installed in the receiver but same result. The handset and receiver sent to you for checking and repair.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the receiver was missing its battery cover.
On testing the remote was found not to be transmitting on any channel.
This was due to a faulty transducer in the remote, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
No issue could be found with the receiver.
