Customer's Fault Description
Two remote controls. Various buttons don't work on both items, including the off switches.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two Triton remotes arrived safely and on inspection one was missing its battery cover (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available). The facias had signs of cracks around the buttons and both had some non functioning buttons.
The facias were peeled back and there was corrosion points in both controls (see images), this is from moisture contamination.
The print was reworked and replacement button caps fitted under the original facias, this restored full functionality to both controls.
Please note that these remotes are not waterproof and great care must be taken to prevent future damage.
