Audio Research LS16 Remote Repair Details

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to transmit on any button.

This was found to be due to a faulty IC.  This has been placed on order (we have had to order in from china so it will be a few weeks before it arrives)

The IC arrived and fitted which restored functionality but it had a strange delay response on each button press.  Eventually this was found to be a hairline crack around the oscillator.  This was bridged which restored full functionality.  A clone was also supplied as a back to the customer.
