Gazco 101-088 Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Gazco 101-088
Customers Fault Description : The remote doesn't work. The red light on the remote comes on when the down button is pressed but not when the up button is pressed. I am sending both the remote and receiver.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace controller and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found not to be transmitting a signal on either the up or down channel.
This was due to a faulty transducer in the controller itself, this was replaced and full functionality was restored.
Please note that on these controls both the smaller button and the up button must be pressed at the same time to turn the fire up (this is a safety feature)
