Customer's Fault Description
Some buttons unresponsive - mainly volume, mute and power, but the input buttons seem to be a little unresponsive. (Possibly all buttons above the display)
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Yamaha remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have some sluggish / non responsive buttons (most likely the most commonly used buttons)

This was due to worn conductive contacts on the button array.  Replacement conductive button pads were glues into place which restored full functionality.
