Will mot operate unit at all is corroded in battery compartment, nothing wrong with unit as tried alternative remote and worked perfectly
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Truma air con controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead. The battery terminals had signs of a battery leakage / corrosion.
When opened there was a mass of contamination over both sides of the PCB and button array and also on of the battery terminals was corroded straight through.
The board was cleaned up as well as the button pads. Then the battery terminal was replaced which restored full functionality.
