Customer's Fault Description
Remote not working. I think there has been a battery leakage in the past. I did try a new set of batteries and it worked for a moment on all buttons but now not working at all.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This aircon control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed dead.

On opening there was signs of corrosion over some of the IC pins (see image).  The print was reworked which restored functionality.
