Remote Fixer Repair Response

These two Velux controls arrived safely and on testing both were dead.  

The first was opened and the battery terminals were coated in grease, this was remove.  One of the main regulators was found to be dry jointed which was causing the dead issue, the solder was reworked which restored full functionality.

The second control was opened and there was a lot of liquid found all over the PCB and under the screen, this was all cleaned up but the issue remained, the extent of this liquid meant that it was possible that it was under much of the SMD components.  The main PCB was replaced which restored functionality.

Please note that these remotes may need to be paired with their corresponding receivers upon return.
