Enduro Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Not sure but it does not operate the device on the caravan. It hasn't worked for several years but I have recently tried it again. When the control is pointed at the caravan and the red button pressed it occasionally lights up the control box inside the caravan but only occasionally. I can not see the light at the front of the remote control illuminating.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Enduro remote arrived safely and on testing was found to be erratic on its power button double press and the LED seemed to be missing.
On opening the LED was found to be shattered (see image) and also the battery cable was damaged. A replacement LED and cable was fitted which restored full functionality.
