No life in screen display. No response from fire when remote control buttons pressed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on inspection the facia had signs of an attempted opening.

On testing the control was confirmed dead.

This was due to the usual issue whereby a capacitor and transistor break away from the PCB, both were replaced which restored full functionality.
