Customers Fault Description : The red LED light on the RC handset remains 'on' after use (draining the battery) and occasionally difficult to operate.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace control arrived safely and on inspection was found to have teeth marks over the casing.
On adding a power source the control was confirmed to be transmitting without a button being pressed. This was due to a collapsed down button, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
