Customers Fault Description : remote stopped working case cracked and battery fell out. On opening up remote found board had been cracked in half.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Safe opening remote control arrived safely and on inspection was confirmed to have a missing battery cartridge and also the PCB was split across the middle breaking many of the print tracks. The print tracks were reworked and the board glued together. This restored full functionality.
A replacement battery cartridge was supplied, it is not a perfect fit but does function.
As a backup a clone was made of this remote as requested.
