Customers Fault Description : Remote Control lights up when tried up Or Down and works fine down But when try up lights on remote work but no lights on controller on fire and nothing happens

This firepalce control and receiver arrived safely and on testing the receiver was not responding from the remote.
The battery compartment in the receiver was showing signs of a battery leak, this block was replaced and also the oscillators which restored full functionality.
