Customer's Fault Description
Item was dropped onto a hard surface from height - small crack to one end. It switches on but will not operate the motor mover, bottom two buttons do not seem to light up the indicators. I have tried re-pairing the device to the control module but still does not communicate.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor move controller arrived safely and on inspection there was damage to the case from the fall.
On testing there was no RF signal being emitted and also the bottom row of buttons were confirmed not to respond.
On opening there was 2 issues found. A regulator was detached from the PCB by 2 pins, this was re-soldered back into place. A diode was found to have shattered (see image), this was replaced and full functionality was restored.
