Customers Fault Description : Remote worked very briefly 6 months ago, when we moved to the property.
Wire appears disconnected inside & battery cover is broken.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace control arrived safely and on inspection the battery cable was found to be detached from the PCB making the remote dead. A replacement battery cable was soldered into place which restored full functionality (see testing video). A replacement battery cover was also supplied.
