Customer's Fault Description
Despite loading brand new batteries in this remote control, the display permanently shows a low battery icon. When pressing the increase and decrease buttons, I see a "wifi" symbol but the fire does not respond. I suspect it needs re-syncing, but for now, this remote still needs repairing.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fireplace controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a low battery indicator even with a new battery.  This was due to a faulty regulator.  This was replaced which restored full functionality.
