Customers Fault Description : The remote no longer works at range, seemed to deteriorate and now it will only register the remote control commands at point blank range.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This fireplace controller and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found not to transmit on either channel.
This was due to a faulty transducer in the remote itself, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
No issue was found with the receiver itself.
