Customer's Fault Description
The remote no longer works at range, seemed to deteriorate and now it will only register the remote control commands at point blank range.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fireplace controller and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found not to transmit on either channel.
This was due to a faulty transducer in the remote itself, this was replaced which restored full functionality.
No issue was found with the receiver itself.
