Volume button highlighted with green border (right side) does not work anymore <br /><br /> The orange receiver button top of remote is a hit and miss, sometimes have to force press the button or hit a few times for it to work eventually <br /><br /> These are the two main buttons used to control the amplifier. All other buttons are working fine
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Pioneer remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have some faulty / sluggish buttons.

When opened this was found to be due to contamination from "decomposing" button contacts on the most commonly use buttons (see images).  The print was cleaned of all contaminants and replacement conductive caps were fitted on the effected buttons which restored full functionality.
