Customer's Fault Description
Receiver does not appear to be working Remote lights up on pressing buttons but no response from receiver. Cable connection from fire to receiver has two wires which have become detached from their connecting block.

Remote Fixer Repair Response
This fire remote and receiver arrived safely and on inspection the cable was confirmed broken and the receiver was found not to respond from the remotes signal. This was actually found to be a faulty remote control. The transducer in the handset was found to have a faulty transducer. A replacement was fitted which restored full functionality.
A connector block was soldered onto the receiver which allows the customer the reconnect the original cable correctly. The cables for this are not available as a spare.
