Customer's Fault Description
The remote keeps turning off and when i stripped it down there is a flat cable inside and the clip that holds the cable in keeps coming loose
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor move controller arrived safely and on inspection the face plate at the top of the remote was broken in two (this doesn't effect functionality and was most likely broken due to a previous opening attempt)
On opening the ribbon cable to the facia was very loose, this was due to a bad clip on the socket. The socket was replaced which restored a secure fastening. When testing the remote was found to be intermittent. This was eventually found to be due to a bad battery cable, a replacement was fitted and full functionality was restored.
