Just bought the car. The usual thing, they left the batteries in the control and never used it, so the batteries eventually corroded and so did the battery terminals

This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery terminals were confirmed to have corroded from a battery leak.  Replacement terminals were fitted which restored full functionality.
