Customer's Fault Description
Intermittently responsive on certain buttons and also the visible LED was faulty

 

This remote was received in a job lot of 3 remotes for repair (other job references have been applied for the other 2 remotes)

The remote was found to be intermittently responsive on certain buttons and also the visible LED was faulty (one of the legs had snapped off)

The repair was to rework the button array with conductive paint and also the pads, the LED was also replaced.  

Full functionality has been restored.

Please note that cosmetic damage cannot be repaired this includes replacing the missing plastic button caps or the battery compartment cover.  It is understood that only the neccessary buttons are the ones with their buttons still in place as per the photo below.  Also as the battery compartment is missing a clip it will be necessary to lodge the battery in using paper or foam as before.
