Numerous buttons inoperative
This remote arrived safely and on first inspection numerous buttons were not operating as stated. Before opening it was also noted that the remote had signs of being opened before as can be seen down the sides of the remote in the form of pit marks / scratches.
When opened the rubber pads were all soaked and washed to remove contamination as well as the pcb cleaned up with some alcohol. The function switches were also cleaned with contact cleaner to prevent intermittent problems in the future.
