Some buttons not working properly volume and other + - buttons

 

This remote arrived safely (it was addressed to the wrong address but luckily was redirected to us by the incorrect recipient)

First inspection revealed that this handset was damaged due to previous attempts at opening (see images below), this sort of cosmetic damage cannot be repaired as cases are not available as spares.

The remote was found to be non functioning on certain buttons as mentioned by the customer, upon opening the remote there was contamination found around the main processor, this was removed by giving the full PCB an alcohol bath.

Full functionality was restored to the remote. (See  ).  The casing had to be Glued back together due to all the retaining clips on the top half being broken prior to out receipt of it.
