Customer's Fault Description
Buttons in particular not working are: Mute, Sound and Programme, do not connect with TV. Some of the other buttons are a bit loose so need to be checked over.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Sony remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have some sluggish / non responsive buttons.

On opening this was found to be due to contamination over the button array (see image), this was all cleaned up but some buttons still remained sluggish.
