Customer's Fault Description
After 12 months of intermittently working it no longer does. It requires a new connector to the battery and unfortunately a small plastic prong that held the battery in place has now broken off. None of the buttons work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Dometic remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead and one of the battery terminals was faulty.
The PCB was removed and battery corrosion was found on the print causing an open circuit, the print was reworked and one of the buttons replaced. Two of the terminals were replaced using spring terminals which restored full functionality.
