Customer's Fault Description
The controller works ok but you have to fiddle with the buttons to get some of the buttons to work. As I am disabled it makes things very difficult for me to get out of bed particularly in the night. The problem buttons are on the right-hand side as these are the ones I use constantly.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This bed controller arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have very sluggish button response.
On opening there was a large amount of sticky liquid contamination over the erratic buttons and PCB. The pads were washed down and the pcb cleared of all contaminants which restored normal functionality.
Important - Please note that then this remote is not used for a few seconds then the first remote button press will not respond. This is actually normal functionality to try to prevent accidental button press. You simply then release the button and re-press which will then activate.
