Customer's Fault Description
Cannot get the remote to light up, or work. Have put a new battery in and checked that the wire connections are as tight as possible, but it just appears "dead" Has worked OK up to now. I suspect that a wire might be broken, or a connection within the motherboard inside the remote control.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have erratic response from its double power button press.
This was found to be due to a faulty battery cable, this was replaced which restored functionality. The buttons were tested and one was found to be high in resistance, this button was also replaced.
