Customer's Fault Description
Batteries have been left in the remote and it has now got corrosion
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on inspection the battery housing confirmed a battery leak had happened.
On removing the PCB sadly the amount of corrosion as very severe causing a lot of open circuits over much of the PCB (see image). An attempt was carried out to rework the print but sadly the control is erratic in functionality.
A repair is not possible due to the amount of damage.
