Bed not working, suspect faulty remote but no obvious damage

This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening the internal Lithium battery was found to be zero volts, the casing on the battery was bubbled which means that the battery had started to "break down". A replacement battery was fitted which restored full functionality.
Please note that this issue may have been caused by a faulty charger, the customer is to test the remote out with the bed before putting on charge on return.
