Customer's Fault Description
Intermittent working of remote. Opened up to see corroded batteries, but when I put new ones in, it is completely dead
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening the issue was found to be related to the battery leak. The negative connective wire had started to corrode internally which was causing a high resistance to the power. This cable was replaced and when re-tested was found to function as per normal operation.
