Customer's Fault Description
While the remote does connect to the caravan mover and allow full function, it intermittently will not switch on. This worries me a bit as it could fail at a key time. Not sure if the red switch on the side is a bit dodgy or if something is loose inside.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This motor move controller arrived safely and on testing was found to have an intermittent response to its power switch.
This was due to a broken mounting pin for the PCB, this allowed the PCB to move freely inside making the switch activation dependant on the orientation of the remote. The PCB was glued firmly back into place which restored full functionality.
