As discussed, works very occasionally, but not working now.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This ceiling fan controller arrived safely and on inspection the battery cover was missing its retaining clip (this cannot be replaced as spares are not available).
On testing the control was found to be intermittent in response.
When opened the issue was found to be due to a large amount of print corrosion around the main IC. The print was reworked and the IC pins reflowed which restored functionality.
