Fantasia Sigma Ceiling Fan Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Fantasia

Model : Sigma Ceiling Fan

Customers Fault Description : This remote control works by radio frequency (according to the manual!). The fan speed buttons (H/M/L) and the fan OFF button work perfectly. The problem is the light on/off and dimmer switch - this has pretty well stopped working. With persistence, I can get the light to go on or off by pressing repeatedly until I get lucky, but this is getting more and more difficult and most of the time the button doesn't work. When working correctly, the light button should turn the light on/off with an instantaneous press and release, or control the dimmer function by holding the button for longer.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote arrived safely and on testing there was a slight on a couple of the buttons, mostly on the light button.

All 5 buttons were replaced which restored full functionality (see testing video)
