Customer's Fault Description
Hello. I just saw your YouTube video for the Homcom treadmill remote and I have the same remote.
None of the three buttons illuminate the led.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Treadmill remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead. This was due to poorly configured battery terminals. One set of the terminals was bent under where the battery would be effectively making both terminals touch the same side of the battery.
The terminals were reconfigured back into the correct place. A Duracell CR2032 battery will be supplied fitted on return. It is important that when replacing the battery to ensure to note the position of the terminals before removing the old battery otherwise it is possible for the customer to bend the terminals our of position and recreate the issue.
